Meet our Pastor 

Pastor WilsonPastor Richard Wilson was born in 1968 in Vancouver Washington. After meeting his wife, Sherri, they eventually established their family in Hood River, Oregon.  There they owned a publishing business and raised their children. In 1996, God, in His infinite wisdom, placed a person in their lives who would eventually lead them to the Lord. That particular individual was an employee of their company. God worked through her to bring both Richard and Sherri to true Biblical salvation. In 1998, he answered the call of the Lord and returned to Arizona with his whole family. There they gradually began the work of God and  established Life Outreach Ministries (now Harvest Assembly).  

 

Life Outreach Ministries was born in January 2002. The first 6 months of services were held in the living room of Pastor Wilson’s home. As the Lord added to His church body, services were relocated into a school gymnasium and then into their very own beautiful church building in March of 2003. Pastor Richard and First Lady Sherri has labored together throughout the years and made the work for The Kingdom of God their life. Seeing souls saved for Jesus Christ is their souls' desire, purpose, and meaning. Through this anointed man of God, countless lives have been changed and transformed.

    Times are exciting at Life Outreach Ministries. God has been doing some great things in the past few months. If it could be summed up in one word, that word would have to be "growth."  We see that God is growing the physical building and preparing us for something great to take place. As you grow naturally through God, He also helps you grow spiritually. The Lord is growing the church body as well, not just in members, but in our own personal walk with Him.

   We have seen the healing hand of God moving in the services.  People have been healed of chronic back pain, asthma, and even the common cold. God is still in the healing business and touching the physical bodies of people today.

  The Word going forth has been very relevant and impacted the lives of many people. Pastor Wilson took us through a 4 part series called "For a Time Such as This."  We learned how to be positioned and prepared to understand and fulfill our purpose. I am thankful that God has placed me in this church for the Word that has been given through Pastor Wilson.  Being here has allowed me to grow by applying His teachings to my life and develop into the man He wants me to be.
